We use the latest technologies in dentistry to give you, our guest, the best care possible. During your preventive, restorative or cosmetic dental care visit, you’ll notice this advanced technology in action at nearly every step.
We take digital x-rays for a clear and safe view inside your mouth, and we show you the state of your dental health on a screen. Digital x-rays skip the uncomfortable and sometimes painful bitewings dentists previously had to use (some still do). These modern, advanced x-rays give us a better view of your mouth with increased comfort for you, and you’re not exposed to increased radiation in the process.
Our team uses an intraoral camera which allows us to get a closer, more detailed view of your teeth, gums, and jaw. Real-time imaging on a screen will also enable you to see inside your mouth with the dentist, discussing any problem areas collaboratively.
For advanced treatment needs like periodontal disease, we use a Picasso laser, a sophisticated tool which allows us to do our work in a non-invasive way with limited discomfort. This laser is key to removing bacteria or infected tissue in the gums, and can assist with gum lift procedures as an option for gummy smiles.
If needed, we have the technology for in-office 3D imaging and printing, which allows us to make certain dental appliances quickly and easily without the extra steps of molds, shipping to labs and waiting for the lab to send the appliance to us.
We offer in-house 3D imaging technology that includes an iTero scanner for digital impressions, which is much more comfortable than the old way of creating putty molds with trays filling your mouth and gunk left over. We also use cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for enhanced diagnosis and treatment planning.
Our Sprintray 3D printer allows us to craft dental appliances quickly and easily within the office. In addition to a faster experience, this allows us to give you a better, more comfortable fit.
Just as we can create various appliances in the office with our 3D printer, we also have the capability to make custom mouthguards and nightguards using our in-office Ministar device. This allows us to tailor the fit for improved comfort and performance, whether you’re looking for sports protection or you grind your teeth at night.
Our office makes it easy to get new ceramic crowns within the same day, allowing you to get a tooth fixed as quickly as possible. That’s because we have a CEREC device with computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) that allows us to quickly make well-fitted crowns.
